Dial Coconut Water Body Wash Giveaway!

The giveaways just keep on going!!! First of all let me say that I love coconuts. To be more specific, I love coconut oil. On a recent trip to Trader Joe's, I bought three jars. I use it in every room, for lots of different things! Even the doggies love it! Google coconut oil uses, you won't regret it! I was given the Dial Coconut water body wash to review and to hook a few of you up with free coupons!

My own review would be that it has a great smell, felt like a cooling effect on my skin and says it contains coconut water(not just coconut water fragrance)! From the info they gave me, they said the Dial coconut water body wash is the first of its kind to contain coconut water for clean, healthy, hydrated skin.

Dry Idea Advanced Dry Giveaway!

I was given a sample of Dry Idea Advanced Dry to review and giveaway some free coupons. Let me tell you first that when I think of Dry Idea, I think of my Dad that's used it for at LEAST 30 years. Pro's and Con's of that is I know he trust that it works, but I naturally think it a dude deodorant, don't you? So I tried it was pleasantly surprised that it didn't remind me of a man, but of a new fresh smelling deodorant! What I was most impressed with is how fast it dried after I applied it! AMAZING!!! For a Roll-on deodorant I highly recommend! It comes in 3 types of applications, roll-on, gel, and aerosol.

Another Giveaway! Get a Free 28 oz bottle of Purex Crystals for Baby!

Who doesn't love the smell of a baby..... after a bath? I've always been in love with baby detergent fragrance and have wished it was cheaper so I could justify using it even though there's no baby in my house! Now enter Purex Crystals for baby. It smells amazing! The smell is reminiscent of a woodsy sweet baby smell.

Here's a few of the benefits listed on the packaging.... "Like other Purex Crystals, our new product is 87% natural. It goes in at the start of the wash, spending more time with your baby's laundry and infusing it with freshness that last for weeks, not days. Plus Purex Crystals for Baby is hypoallergenic, dye free, and safe for use on all clothes, including children's sleepwear."

Here's my personal review of Purex Crystals for Baby.... I first used it on a load of blankets we use for snuggling on the couch. There's no real measurements on the cap, so I filled the cap about halfway and threw it in at the start of the wash. I was happy with the smell of the blankets afterwards, but felt they still had a bit of static electricity in them. (I didn't use any additional softener) My second trial run included just my lil dude's clothing. I used 3/4 of a cap and the end results were great. Smelled amazing and felt great as well!

By the way: Purex provided me with a sample of Purex Crystals for Baby in exchange for a product review. However, all the opinions expressed here are my own.

Wanna free box of 20 Mule Team Borax?

Borax hooked me up with a free sample of their product so I could review them. I have used their product before, but only as an addition to a homemade laundry detergent I found on pinterest!
Only thing I would change would be to add in purex crystals for added scent, otherwise there's no smell... bad or good...

I wanted to review the borax on it's own, with nothing else mixed with it. I didn't realize how useful it could be all over the house! I knew of the effectiveness with clothing and stains, but didn't realize it could be used for carpet stains, to boost your dishwasher's cleaning power and to clean and deodorize in the bathroom and garbage disposals and drains! Pretty versatile product if ya ask me!

I first tried it in my dishwasher by adding 1/4 cup of borax in the bottom of the dishwasher, to keep the dishes and glassware from leaving spots or film. The glasses seemed to be a bit less spotty!

My sponge filter in my shark vacuum was in desperate need of a "defunk", so I put about a gallon of hot water in my kitchen sink with about half cup of borax and soaked my filter in the water for 2 hours. I rinsed it out and was surprised at how clean and white my filter had returned to.

I also tried to use it as a carpet stain remover and wasn't as pleased with the results. The instructions were to dissolve 1/2 cup of 20 mule Team Borax in 1 pint water. Sponge on and wait a half hour and rinse well. Then let dry and vacuum. The results were ok, but I went ahead and used my trusty little green machine afterwards.

I know of the effectiveness of borax for laundry stains and delicates, and feel like every household should have a box on hand just in case. There LOTS of other uses for Borax other than the ones I've mentioned.

The winner will be contacted via email on January 29th.
